I have hemmed ladies and men’s dress slacks with or without cuffs, knit pants, and jeans.  
I have altered and hemmed formal dresses, which include wedding dresses, bridesmaid’s dresses, and prom dresses.  I have shortened skirts from the waist when there are design details at the hem, such as ruffles, trims, lace or scalloped edges.  I have replaced torn linings in coats and jackets.  I have replaced zippers in coats, fleece jackets, and pants.  I have shortened sleeves in men’s shirts by removing the cuff, moving the vent opening, and reattaching the cuff.  I have altered men’s suit jackets and pants to allow for weight gain or weight loss.

I ordered a wedding dress that I had not tried on and when it arrived it was too small. I contacted Janice and asked her to alter my dress for me. It turned out to be a lot more work than I had anticipated. The dress was about 2 sizes too small. Janice ended up removing the sleeves, removing 7 pieces of boning, letting out side seams, reattaching the sleeves, removing and replacing beadwork and hemming the skirt. I was extremely pleased with the results and would highly recommend Janice to anyone looking for alterations!
